Specialist service

Epoxy floor coatings in Wallan and Melbourne’s north.

Few painters take on epoxy. We do it properly: grind, repair, then coat, so plain concrete becomes a tough, glossy floor that wipes clean and shrugs off oil, chemicals and heavy traffic.

How we work

Step by step, no shortcuts.

  1. Check the slab

We look at cracks, old coatings and moisture before we quote.

  2. Grind

The surface is ground back to clean, sound concrete so the epoxy can grip.

  3. Repair

Cracks and holes filled and the floor vacuumed spotless.

  4. Coat

Base coat, then flakes or colour, then a clear top coat.

  5. Cure and hand over

We tell you exactly when you can walk and drive on it.

Local to you

From double garages in Mickleham to warehouses in Epping.

New homes in Mickleham, Kalkallo, Donnybrook and Beveridge often come with a bare concrete garage that stains the first time oil drips on it. A flake epoxy floor fixes that and turns the garage into a space you are happy to use as a gym, workshop or second entry.

On the commercial side, warehouses and workshops around Epping, Craigieburn, Somerton and Wallan need floors that handle forklifts, chemicals and constant cleaning. We also coat shop floors and building entries where a hard-wearing, easy-to-clean surface matters.

FAQ

Epoxy floor coatings questions

How soon can I use the floor?

Curing time depends on the product and the temperature, so we give you exact times for your floor: when you can walk on it and when you can drive on it.

Flake or solid colour?

Flake finishes hide dust and small marks and suit garages and workshops. Solid colour and high-gloss finishes give a clean, bright look for shops, entries and warehouses.

Is epoxy slippery when wet?

A plain gloss finish can be, so for wet areas, ramps and entries we add an anti-slip finish.

Can you coat over an old painted floor?

Usually the old coating has to come off first. We grind back to sound concrete so the epoxy bonds properly and does not peel.
